How to Login to Your Ambassador Portal

Using the Lighthoof Ambassador Portal is Easy

It’s easy to login to your Lighthoof ambassador portal where you can:

  • View your stats on how many people clicked your link
  • See what pending commission you may have
  • Copy your custom link to send or share manually
  • Use the widget to send or share automatically
  • Update your profile and settings
  • And more!

But remember, you don’t need to ever login to your portal to use the ambassador program.

The easiest way to earn Lighthoof commissions is to send or share your custom link.

Your link looks something like this (see picture) and was emailed to you when you first signed up to be an ambassador.

Login to Your Portal

Go to to login.

You can also find this link at the bottom of the Lighthoof website, called Ambassador Login.

Enter your email address.

If it’s your first time logging in, you will use the temporary password from your welcome email. If you’ve already logged in and changed your password, use your new password.

If you have any trouble with your password, click the forgot your password? link to reset it.

Once you are logged in, your portal looks like this:

You can see your commission earnings and payouts. Don’t worry if you don’t see any sales yet, it can take a while for people to decide how much to order.

Once you earn a commission, we will contact you to arrange payment. The easiest way to do it is to enter your paypal info and we can send your commissions automatically!

Up at the top is your custom link. Copy and paste for easy sending and sharing!

You can also send or share right from the portal using the share widget. Select email or a social network and use the default message or customize it to your preference. Customized messages often get more clicks, especially if you have a personal experience to share.

In the very top right corner of your portal, click on your name to update your profile, change your password, and more!

Lighthoof Banner Ads

If you have a website or blog, we have banner ads that you can use. Simply click on Assets on the left side of the portal, look through the designs we have to offer and click to copy the code to paste onto your website. It will automatically use your custom link when it posts the banner.

Ambassador Success Tip: Share More Than Once

You probably already know that messages are more effective when repeated. But how many times do people need to hear about Lighthoof before they decide that they need it for their horses?

Business Insider tells us that “a good starting point for thinking about this blend is the ‘Rule of Seven,’ formulated by marketing expert Dr. Jeffrey Lant. Lant states that to penetrate the buyer’s consciousness and make significant penetration in a given market, you have to contact the prospect a minimum of seven times within an 18-month period.

Believe it or not, this concept has been studied since the 1800s, a time when businessmen rode their horses to work!

Thomas Smith, an early businessman, penned this statement in 1885 in his historic book Successful Advertising:

The 4th time, they have a fleeting sense that they’ve seen it before.

The 13th time, they start to feel the product has value.
The 14th time, they start to feel like they’ve wanted a product like this for a long time.
The 15th time, they start to yearn for it because they can’t afford to buy it.
The 16th time, they accept the fact that they will buy it sometime in the future.
The 17th time, they make a commitment to buy the product.
The 18th time, they curse their poverty because they can’t buy this terrific product.

The 20th time prospects see the ad, they buy what it is offering.

The moral being: you don’t have to pester your contacts, but don’t be discouraged if you don’t get sales off of your first couple shares. Remember the timeless advice of Thomas Smith, and as Dori would say it “Just keep sharing!”
