Horse Farm Tour on Winter & Emergency Preparedness

Get a jump on winter, prepare for emergencies and make the rainy season easier! Join Alayne Blickle from Horses for Clean Water to find out how to winterize your horse property, beat mud and become more chore-efficient at a time of year when it counts the most. Tour the farm and learn about emergency preparedness from the owner, Lyn Gross-Rosgaard, an Emergency Management Director. Special guest Dr. Haskins from Northwest Veterinary Clinic in Stanwood will talk about horse health.

BONUS: Meet Kelly Munro of Lightfoot Equine, a paddock footing product that helps improve drainage and reduces mud. See product samples and hear how it works. Plan now to get great winterizing tips on how to reduce mud, eliminate rodents, keep water supplies from freezing--and more! Class is free, $10 for lunch and snacks.
