Bundle of 2 Lighthoof Panels and Geotextile Fabric
Turn your worst mud spot into solid ground this weekend.
This starter bundle covers a 12' x 12' area — perfect for a gate entrance, the front of a run-in shed, or anywhere your horses have churned the ground into a swamp. Lighthoof panels lock gravel in place so it can't sink, scatter, or wash away. The result is a firm, mud-free surface that drains beautifully and lasts for years.
Unlike generic geocell products, Lighthoof is the only geocell specifically engineered and patented for use with horses. Our flexible panels move with freeze-thaw cycles instead of cracking, conform to slopes and uneven ground, and stand up to the pawing, pacing, and weight that horses put a surface through daily.
85% of customers install Lighthoof themselves. Two people, one weekend, done.

Common Questions
First-Time Buyer FAQ
Can I install this myself?
Absolutely — 85% of Lighthoof customers install the panels themselves. With two people, you can complete this 2-panel bundle in a single weekend. We provide detailed installation instructions, and our team is available by phone if you have questions during your project.
Do I need to remove my existing mud first?
No. Lighthoof can be installed directly over existing mud when used with the included geotextile fabric. The fabric prevents mud from migrating up into the gravel, so you don't need to excavate or scrape first.
What kind of gravel do I need, and where do I get it?
Use 1/4", 3/8", or 1/2" minus angular crushed stone with fines. You'll need about 3 cubic yards for this 2-panel bundle. Any local landscape supply or quarry should carry it. Avoid pea gravel, sand, or washed stone — those don't compact properly.
Can I add more panels later?
Yes! Most customers start with 2 panels in their worst spot and expand from there. Panels connect seamlessly with zip ties and the included Envirolock connectors. Volume discounts kick in automatically at 10, 20, and 50 panels.
What if my area isn't flat?
That's fine — Lighthoof was specifically designed for slopes and uneven terrain. The flexible panels conform to the ground beneath them. It's one of the most forgiving ground stabilization systems available.
Start Small. Expand When You're Ready.
Most customers begin with 2 panels in their worst mud spot — a gate, a feeding area, the path to the water trough. Once you see the difference, you can add panels anytime. They connect seamlessly, and volume discounts apply automatically at checkout.
Start at your gate this month. Do the rest of the paddock next season.
